Arts Guild Tribute to Ray
A Big Huge Thank You to everyone at the Arts Guild and to all of our friends who came to celebrate with us!

Last November 14-15 (2008), the Arts Guild of Sonoma held a special tribute exhibition in honor of Ray. The exhibit was beautiful featuring a retrospective of Ray's work. The music was fantastic, thanks to Simka, Rock Choir Vox Populi, Earl Blue and the Dan Goldfus Trio.
We enjoyed wine, yummy food, visited with friends old and new, and danced the evening away.
Ty Krauss, longtime friend and fellow Sonoma artist presented a heartfelt tribute to Ray. It was a little noisy at the event, so if you could not hear, you can read Ty's full speach.
To kick off the Ray Jacobsen Memorial Scholarship fund, a fund that will support and further the higher education of Sonoma Valley student-artists, we raffled one of Ray's Framed Giclee prints, raising just over $2500!

We shared some of Ray's large Southwest pieces and earlier abstracts.
